Everyone has them. I have many. What are yours?
- I never liked Peeta. He's too weak and self-sacrificial, which is unnecessary and annoying during a war. He's the "damsel in distress" character of the books for certain, which pegs him as weak and useless in my mind.
- I'm prepared to dodge blows and tridents for this one, but I was never a huge Finnick fan. I don't really have a good reason. I just knew the moment I read about him that every woman who reads the series was gonna pine for him just like the Capitol women. Also, I don't particularly like how drastic his personality change is between when he's around Annie and when he's not. It's like super playboy then most romantic man in the universe.
- Johanna Mason is my favorite character of Catching Fire. And, honestly, even though I'll argue for Gale over Peeta, I ship Katniss most with Johanna because Johanna is OBVIOUSLY a raging lesbian which only makes me love her more.
- While I don't agree with animal cruelty and understand why he hated Katniss, I agree with her. Buttercup was a little bitch.

1. Katniss is a weak character in my opinion. She has one huge quality- her stubborness. Everything else is kind of "fill-in-the-blank" like Bella Swan. This worked for Bella Swan- but the Hunger Games needs to be character driven to work. Katniss has no character.
2. I don't give a damn about Prim.
3. I hated Gale from the start. Everything about him angers me.

Like the person who made this topic, I wasn't ever a huge fan of Peeta.
I think that's about it...other than the fact that I really like the Careers.

1) Katniss was annoying and to depressed in Mockingjay , i wanted to throw mybook at the wall.
2) Prim .. i didn't really react at all when she died , i was just a bit 'meh'
3) i thought the final ending .. was i'm not sure.. a little unsatisfying. I wanted to know more! The end just left me filled with unanswered questions. And i dislike how she sort of just settled for Peeta, i love peeta , he's a doll.

I completely agree. Remember in Mockingjay where Katniss notices how Finnick has to change the person who he is in every situation he is in and wonders how he keeps knowing who he is despite that obstacle? That's why I love Finnick (and honestly, I feel like anyone who says they like Finnick because "he's hot" is crazy - we don't even have a face for him yet!!!)

I mean you can't go omg Finnick is hot when all you have seen is fan made pictures!
It annoys me when I talk to girls about it and they say "Finnick is a babe and he is my favourite character because he is so good looking"

This quote really sums up why I love Finnick - there are so many sides to him and no matter how bad things get, he nearly always is positive.

You guys really don't like Katniss?
I thought she was a pretty strong character. Always thinking about her family, defiant, strong willed, stubborn. Yeah, there were times when I didn't like her. But there were times when I didn't like every character. Except for Finnick.
I always liked Finnick.
And, I agree, Johanna is just ajknkgjdnakgj I love her so much (D7 ow ow!)
I didn't really care for Prim, either.
Rue's death left me indifferent. It didn't effect me.
President Snow is my favorite character (Haymitch being my second favorite).
Oh, and I also think Peeta is weak is useless.
