I got a Pottermore account and had it activated on September 27th. Not only did waiting so long frustrate me- I ended up HATING it! I gave my id to my friend Megan who didn't manage to get one.

The only thing I like was the sorting. Others meh. Not that much interaction.

Same here. I was kind of expecting something where you create yourself as a wizard and can visit each room and talk to other pottermore people, where you only use the storyline if you want to

Well, I read a lot of press conference information and interviews and things that were released, so I knew not to expect an MMORPG or anything super interactive. But, I was still a crazy fan who stayed up all night on the first night of the Quill contest and got in, and then stayed up all of the subsequent nights to aim for a second account for a friend that was camping and had no internet. So, to say I wasn't disappointed when I got in (which I think was rather earlier than most people, because I was able to duel before they took it down and almost all of the people I talked to didn't have that opportunity until they very recently relaunched it .__.) would be a lie.
However, I liked the interactive bits. Diagon Alley, Ollivander's, Sorting. And some of the information was great. Like the stuff on wands and Hufflepuff.
...Yeah.

Yeah, I wish it was more interactive, too. Plus, they need to get the other books up; otherwise, there's basically nothing to do. It looks awesome, though, and a lot of the extra content is interesting, but there needs to be more interaction.

I wasn't expecting it to be extremely interactive, but I do like it. I love reading the extra info about different characters, the classes, and the wands. I also loved the sorting. I do wish there were other ways to earn points besides just dueling or potions because they get boring after a while. But over all, I'm satisfied with it.
And I laughed when I read that one of Quirrell's hobbies was pressing wild flowers. (When I rule the world, I'll plant flowers! -AVPM)

I was disappointed because I was expecting something different. But I ended up being okay with it. I enjoy reading the background stories. McGonagall is amazing. And I think that when the other books are released on the site, I'll enjoy it more. But hey, at least myHogwarts is gonna come out this year. That's what I thought Pottermore was going to be like.

I got in the last day of the Magic Quill thing. I really enjoyed the sorting and getting my wand but I was kind of hoping for a MMORPG type thing or a giant online dictionary containing everything related to Harry Potter, canon and non-canon. Everything canon supplied by Rowling herself, of course.
I really liked reading all the extra stuff, though. I learned new things about the series and was given more ideas for head canons and fan fictions! XD But everything else kind of sucks. And I want to go to Chamber of Secrets but it won't let me.... bleh..

Chamber of Secrets hasn't been released yet. It won't be relreased until the site is out of beta and users can actually sign up. It will probably come out a couple of months after it's opened to the public.
I was expecting that, too. But myHogwarts is going to be so cool! That will probably give us what we want and more. Registration starts this summer! So excited!
