I learn Chinese at school, and when he first said that she was beautiful, and when he said I love you, I had a freak out cause I knew what he had said.

And if he dies
I will die also
metaphorically of course

What we need is some gorgeous amazing smart girl to come in and Jem can fall in love with her and Tessa can be all "I understand" and then they can end the engagement and Tessa and Will can be together and Jem will not be sad or lonely.

As for when one of the parabatai dies, do you think that if they become a vampire...?

Jemmy is my favorite. I'm infatuated with most of the characters, don't get me wrong (Tessa Jem Will Magnus and Gideon). But he's my favorite. GOD their scene where he feels so trapped in CP was just... gripping. I wanted to cry. "You can't beleive I could want you..."
He's so human and so wonderful...

I agree. I think Jem was either Brother Jeremiah (said he smelled sweet... demon drug?"or Brother Zachariah (said the Brothers had relations with the Herondales).

Though I think Jem will likely die of his demon disease... Though Jeremiah smelled sweet, Jem, his name (according to Cassie) WAS originally Jeremiah Ravenscar... O.O you may be onto something.
