Salvete!!! For those of you who are not awesome enough to take latin...that means hello!! I am Katy from the way too warm state of Arizona. I haven't read many of the books that there are Fandoms for but I have heard/read/watched Hunger Games, Matched, Percy Jackson, and a little bit of Doctor Who.
Hunger Games: EPIC!! Cannot wait till the movie and have read all of the books...some of them while my friends are telling me to read faster....
Matched: Pretty Good. Read both of them and cannot wait till the 3rd book comes out. Defiantly enjoyed the first book more than the second.
Percy Jackson: BEST BOOKS EVER!!! As I said earlier, I take latin and I also know a ton about Greek and Roman culture and their myths...so I kinda thoroughly enjoy the books about Greek and Rome.
Doctor Who: I was forced to watch it by my friends...got through about 2 and a half seasons...then got entertained by a different TV show...so yea...
Overall, I am a typical nerd who takes latin...and did I forget to mention that sometime I read ahead in my school textbooks and take notes ahead of time...anyway, valde! (goodbye!)

You took Latin = you officially win in my opinion ;D
"I would make them all learn English: and then I would let the clever ones learn Latin as an honor, and Greek as a treat."- Sir Winston Churchill (I've yet to get to the Greek part, but someday maybe!)
(currently in my 6th year of Latin studies)
My motto ->
vita contingit . aut viam inveniam aut faciam. vive cum eo.

That is awesome I'm a freshman in High school, and have been taking Latin since 6th grade (same with skatingkaty). I have one more year of Latin, then in junior year, switch and take 2 years of Greek... still working on translating that. 'the life touched. either I find life or make (it). I go with life'...? I might have translated that a bit wrong, but I like it either way

it can be translated different ways (yay Latin vocab. -.-), but I translate it as "Life happens. You either have to find a way or make it. Live with it."
