Each week we'll introduce two wacky new 'ships each featuring characters from different fandoms! First, choose your favorite! Then explain whether you think each ship would work or not! Each week, we'll announce the winner and then put up two new ships for you to vote on! Got a kooky cross-fic ship idea? Be sure to suggest it!

Buttercup (Hunger Games) and Crookshanks (Harry Potter)
They're both survivors, stubborn, and refuse to give up. Crookshanks would have been there in an instant to save Buttercup from Katniss's attempts at drowning him because he can easily detect when somebody is dis-trustworthy.

Clove (Hunger Games) and Peter (Divergent)
Come on, they're both teenage sadistic maniacs! What's not to like? And I think Clove would have chosen Dauntless too, given a choice. After all, she is from District 2, the district of psychotic badasses.

Finnick(Hunger Games) and Percy (Percy Jackson)
Both are fun, happy-go-lucky, leaderlike, athletic, loyal, brave, friendly, ocean-loving... Basically, theyre really alike.

The Naval Battles of the American Civil War not only happened out at sea, but also in major rivers of the United States. Without the naval battles that occurred during this war, the outcome could have been reversed. The naval force of each army also provided the ground troops with supplies and medical care to carry out the war as planned. Both ground troops and naval troops had to work together in the Civil War in order for them to succeed.

Mankind has fought battles on the sea for more than 3,000 years. Land navigation, until the advent of extensive railroads was extremely dependent upon river.
