What did you think of River? Like her? Hate her?
Personally, I didn't mind her, but all the CONFUSION which came with her plotline really put me off. I Dr.Who is never straight forward and stuff, but this was just too paradoxical for my brain to cope with.

I kind of liked her too, but she seems a bit too maniacal for my liking. I really like the really twisty plotline that comes with her (especially the Doctor dying part), but I wish they would be a bit more clear about her biology, like how similar she is to a time lady.

Does she have two hearts? I forget if they say.
exactly! I really do not understand just conceiving a baby on the tardis gives that baby the power to regenerate? I liked the little touch about how they named their daughter after their daughter. Trippy! I thought it was sad how the doctor always knew when and how she died :,( But at least he could save her (save? get it?)

It wasn't that she was born on the TARDIS so much as she was conceived while the TARDIS was in the time vortex.
And I adore River. Especially the way we first met her. Which makes her all the more tragic and awesome. Her and the doctor are constantly meeting each other out of order. Him at the end of her life, and her at her regeneration while trying to kill him.

I love that River is Melody Pond. I think that is so freaking cool! And the prayer leaf thing was so brilliant. That whole idea was pretty flawless (though a bit confusing at first). And yes, River does indeed have two hearts!
Though I love River's role as Melody Pond, I"m not a fan of her involvement with The Doctor. I would have liked her much more if she would have been like Donna, more of a best friend. I feel almost bad for her because she's so in love with The Doctor and he has no idea why. Yes, their timelines are reversed and that's a pretty cool plot in itself, I just feel like she's almost like Martha in the sense that it will never be FULLY reciprocated.

Oh right. But still. I'll admit, it was an incredible storyline, it pretty much kept us guessing the whole time. Don't you just adore those moments when you put two and two together and finally get four? Like when I figured out it was river in the spacesuit before they told us. I was like OMYFREAKINGGODITSHERITSHER!!!

please. River is nothing like Martha or Donna. River is able to stand on her own with the doctor. She isnt with him cause she's inlove with him and he isn't reciprocating. He flirts with her as much as she does with him. She's more than Martha, Donna or even rose because she is more than them. River is a Time Lord, born of humans. She knows more and understands the Doctor more than they ever did. Besides, this is a new Doctor, not the old one. New Doctor, new personality, new everything. They knew a bit of the old doctor. River knows so much more and is able to fully comprehend what he is talking about. She knows his name, she can write and understand Gallifreyian which she uses to deface ancient artifacts. She can fly and understand the TARDIS.

I liked it, it just got a bit annoying that both Amy AND little River were replaced with one. It seemed really obvious to me.

I had a feeling that River might be Amy and Rory's daughter from the future, but I only got the opinion after reading a fanfic. Still it planted the idea in my head. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be true.

I was going "did they mean gangster? Or ginger? Or granger?" And then I had one of those OMFG!!!I GET IT moments when I realised it was ganger as in doppel Lol I really liked that. It was like woahmygosh, that was trippy! But they did overuse it a little

Like stay with him and not die.. for a while..

i liked the whole Melody Pond or River Song thing. its confusing but i like it a lot mostly because i really never saw it coming...but it must be a little weird for Amy and Rory knowing the doctor is hitting that lol

i think its weirder knowing that the Doctor is technically their Son-in-law.

The thing is, it was too predictable. I knew as soon as amy said I'm pregnant...
