Who do you think should be cast to play the twelfth Doctor?

I'm really pulling for a ginger. But these are the only red-headed actors that I can really think of that would fit the requirements of the role (accent, at least somewhat attractive, age, etc.)
Damian Lewis Kevin McKidd Toby Stephens Zack Ward Sean McGowan Robert Kazinsky Douglas Henshall Tony Curran (though he already played Van Gogh in season 5)
And though I couldn't see these happening: Simon Pegg, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Rupert Grint

I'm just hoping they don't do someone too serious. Because Matt Smith is so silly! I'm scared theyll want to change things up and get a more serious and suave Doctor.

Tony Curran is still a possibility since being a previous character in Doctor who has never stopped them before. Colin Baker the 6th doctor was a small character on the show before he became the doctor.

They always test drive the companions in an episode before they become companions (like Freema Agyeman was in 'The Army of Ghosts' and Karen Gillian was in 'Fires of Pompeii') My main hope is that they give the 12th Doctor a bit more depth. 11 is too much of a surface character, and doesn't tend to hide his feelings and have different personalities, whereas 10 did really well with that. I honestly think that Charlie MacDonnel or Daniel Radcliffe would be REALLY awesome. Daniel Radcliffe can act reeeaaallly smart at times, like when he was in How to Succeed

I definitely do want some more serious, but not too serious. Does that make sense? Cumberbatch would be perfect. I wish he had a twin brother.

Maybe he could have black hair in sherlock and ginger in doctor who... although that might look a bit weird.

I'm not quite sure who I want, but I read some where that people want Daniel Radcliffe to be the next doctor, and I feel like that would be a horrid choice. Its not that I don't like him, I loved him as Harry and thats where my problem lies. Daniel will always be known as Harry. I feel like it would go over horribly if he became the doctor. I personally want to see some one older. I love the younger doctors, I drool over Tennant and Matt as much as the next fangirl, but I worry that the eye candy is taking away from who the Doctor is. I want to see someone a little older, yet still handsome. I also want someone who is willing to play the Doctor for a long period of time. I feel like we're going through doctors to fast at the moment. I hate to say this but maybe we need more time between episodes. The Doctor only has so many regenerations, though I'm quite sure they'll get around that some how for the sake of the franchise. *sigh* I wish I had a name or a face of what I think the doctor should be. I have this idea and thats about it.

And no way will Daniel Radcliffe work... He just harry. I could never get past that. Its like when there was a rumour that johnny depp was going to be the doctor... It just wouldn't work. ( i also read somewhere that they might get rupert grint egh..

I just want someone new. Maybe a COMPLETELY new face, a brand new actor. That way there would be non presumptions about him. We wouldn't know what to expect

I feel like the person who plays the Doctor can't be some one to big named or already well known for another role. It would just not work. I mean I love all three of them, but I can't see any of them being the Doctor. We need someone who won't get distracted by side projects and put the role of the Doctor on hold, like I can see some one big named doing.
