What do you think of JJ Abrams take on the Star Trek universe? Did he do a good job with the last one? Are you looking forward to the sequel in 2013?

I really enjoyed the movie. I grew up watching the show with my dad when I was a kid, though mostly Next Generation and Voyager. But I still knew of the original. And the movie...it was good. And I am supremely looking forward to the next one. Of course that may be due to the fact that with heroes no longer on, I dont have any other way to watch Zachery Quinto. But either way, it was good.
Was wondering when someone would make a post in this section.

I'm a lifelong trekkie, and I grew up watching TNG, Voyager and Deep Space Nine...Insurrection and Nemesis were both such a letdown, I fully expected to never see another Trek movie. I was worried sick when the first spoilers came out about a Starfleet Academy movie... Needless to say my fears were unfounded! If it weren't for Star Trek IV, this would easily be my all-time favourite Trek movie
