I'm pretty sure that no matter what happens, there will be a cliff hanger ending. I got so excited at the end of SoN and then AHHHHHHHH! Not fair, effective, but not fair at all.

I don't think Annabeth is gonna die, cuz that would piss off A LOT of fans. I think she's going to be stubborn and do something completely stupid and rash that will compromise the quest. That's why Hera/Juno told Percy he would have trouble with Annabeth, cuz she won't listen him. But, since she's his girlfriend and they've been through everything together, he won't want to admit that Annabeth is the one giving him problems... That makes sense, right?
I think, that if anyone dies, it will be some Apollo kids cuz apparently, Rick Riodan thinks they're expendable. -_-

Yeah, that part about Apollo's kids bugs me too.

Would there still be a format per chapter? Different perspective per chapter. Or one whole character? Percy again, maybe? Or Annabeth's quite possible. What do you guys think?

I think that it might be all seven's perspectives. Well, not first person but third with that person's point of view since they FINALLY get together again.

Apparently Apollo's kids are the redshirts of the demigod world.

No, a redshirt is someone who is entirely useless to the plot, has almost no lines, and most of the time doesn't even get a name. And usually wears red. For more info, see here: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RedShirtExample: Those kids who died in the bloodbath of Katniss's Games.

Annabeth CAN'T die I love her too much!!!! I think it's less of her dying and more of her being possessed in a way? kind of like Luke, except it doesn't result in her dying. I am pretty sure that The Heroes of Olympus is only a trilogy, so the next book is the last

I dont think its possible for them to finish this thing with gaia in one more book. Besides, they have to be they have to not only get alone, but also get the gods to fight alongside them. Remember? It will take a god and a demigod to take them down.

Hopefully, HoO will still be a pentalogy. If the next one will be the last, I'm so not ready for the series to end. It's just so good!
