The Dark Heroine: Dinner With A Vampire. I think this book will soon be a hype... It's very well written, and you can read the first 20 chapters on Wattpad!

SKULDUGGERY PLEASANT. its a bout a 12 year old girl who attends her uncles funeral. And then Mr.Skeleton Detective(skulduggery pleasant) shows up. Nothing good can come of this. basically its Harry potter and Sherlock's little baby.

If it weren't for the fact its just books rather than just other worlds, I'd have named more than just the following, but as it is, be happy I'm naming more: The Codex Alera novels by Jim Butcher need love, as does The Dark Is Rising by Susan Cooper.

Ok I know the Ramona books are kinda for younger kids but I read them last year and i thought they were so funny. They aren't very big but are good for bringing on a trip or something. Check 'em out.

As it stands, I haven't read these in years, and I'm not sure if they can be found at your nearest Barnes & Noble, really.
