(graphic by me - no stealing please)M*A*S*H is an American staple that I sincerely hope does not get lost to younger generations.
It won 8 Golden Globes and ran for 11 seasons, from 1972 to 1983. With approximately 125 million viewers, the finale "Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen" held the title of the most-watched television broadcast in American History for many years (until being topped by a few recent Superbowls) and is considered by many to be the best finale to any television series.
M*A*S*H is accredited as the first true "dramedy", a mixture of comedy with heavy dramatic scenes that is common on today's television programming.
So, who else here is familiar with this brilliant classic series?

I'm familiar with it, but not to a heavy extent. I was more into watching Dukes of Hazzard and the A-team when I was a kid.
But M*A*S*H? Heard of it, need to watch it.

(yay! someone replied! I didn't think anyone would)
Yeah, I mean, I'm 19 and still understand every joke made and enjoy the stories and characters and even though I've probably seen it a hundred times I still cry like a baby at the end of "Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen". So, I guess that's the part that amazes me the most, because I can connect so easily even though is CLEARLY was not from my generation.
