So I have run across a lot of different opinions on whether 10.5 and Rose should be brought back for an episode or season finale. I personally think that they should bring them back, but not for the purpose of appeasing fans. They should have an episode in which all of the Doctor's old companions get brought back for the sake of saving time. The point would be to develop another plot line, or as a season finale, not just because everyone misses them. I also think that it would be really cool if they had a scene at the beginning of an episode in which 11 and his companion happen to be traveling around a dying star, and a small image of 10.5 and Rose going on their adventures appeared by chance in the TARDIS. The only reason I say this is because I think they left off the 10.5/Rose ship a bit too abruptly, so no one really knows if it ended up working out or not, especially since you have the issue of whether or not he is the same person as the Doctor or his own person or what. As you can see, I've thought a bit too much about this, so I kind of want to know what everyone else's opinion is :3

the best chance of them ever bringing back any old companions is for an anniversary episode. Besides, I would rather see 10 and 11 working together. The 10.5 and rose ship has otherwise sailed.

Yeah, I get really annoyed with all the 10.5/Rose fics where 10.5's Doctor qualities get covered up by the cheesy romance-y fluff. I really want to see all the old companions come back for one episode just to see how they all react with the current characters. It kind of bothers me that they haven't had a single thing carry over from S4 to S5/6. I'm sure the reason behind that is because It's really hard to write for characters that are not your own because they start becoming out of character, so Moffat would have trouble writing for all of Davies' characters. Either way, they should just work together and create the ultimate episode with, say, 11, River, Amy, Rory, 10.5, Rose, Jack, Martha, Mickey, Jackie, Sarah Jane, Ace (why not?), maybe Jenny, or Sally Sparrow, and Gwen Cooper (sadly not Donna, because I have still yet to find a plausible way to bring her back whereas it is fairly simple to bring all the others). I think it would be really cool to see how they all react to each other :3

As much as I would adore to see Rose back, I think they've wrapped her storyline up really well and probably want to keep it that way. She has her happy ending, which is a lot better than i guess anyone had hoped for.
I would love to see an episode where the doctors 'daughter' comes back. You remember the girl that was cloned from his dna? And he thought she's died, but right at the end she regenerated?

10.5 kind of annoys me. I'm glad that Rose got her happy(ish) ending, but I think it was off. Ten's inability to speak his love for Rose out loud is a big part of his personality. The fact that Rose seemed happy enough is the only reason I can tolerate Rose/ 10.5
