So, I feel like this fandom needs more stuff on it, so... Who is your favorite companion? I would make this a poll, but there are way too many companions to count, and I don't know half of them....... I say Rose, Donna, and Jack, but I love them all soooo......

Ten/Rose=Best Couple Ever!!!! I really dislike Martha when she is with the Doctor, after she leaves, she is cool. I am convinced that TARDIS stands for Ten And Rose Dancing In Space...... Dancing metaphor NOT applied...

To be honest, Rose was okay of a companion. She wasnt my favorite, but I respected her. martha...let herself get involved with someone who she couldn't be with. With a guy who didnt see her the way she wanted to be seen. She shouldn't have fallen in love. Otherwise I found her pretty cool.
As for my favorite...well now thats hard too. Though...I would have to say its a three way tie between Donna, River and Rory. Don't get me wrong, I adore Amy. She's the one I really feel represented with. But Donna, River and Rory, they all have called out the Doctor on his faults. They haven't let themselves get swept away by everything he can show them. They are as much equals to him as possible. They have all grown as characters by leaps and bounds since we first saw them. Donna and Rory the most.
So yeah. Those are my picks. With Wilf as an honorable mention.

I actually didn't mind Martha but she could never replace Rose for me! And I liked Donna too! Though not as much as Rose!

I definitely agree with your reasoning. If you think about it though, Rose does that too. That's why he left her with the Meta-Crisis. Because she made him better.

He needed someone like her then. Just got out of a war, and Rose helped him to recover. To learn how to live again. You mean Handy?

Yeah. I have a tendency to call him the Meta-Crisis because that is the 'official' name for him. He is a timelord/human meta-crisis.... a lot of people call him 10.5 or the tenth doctor duplicate (including fanfiction). I guess the Tenth didn't need her as much, but he still followed what she taught him, and started to lose what she taught him once she was gone, like in The Runaway Bride when he killed all the racnoss.

All the companions were pretty amazing. Rose and Ten are amazing together personally, and Donna was a really nice break because I never got from her that she was in love with the doctor. Amy is another of my favorites because she never really loses faith in the Doctor nowadays. Shes known him her whole life and I think of them not really as a couple but more as family. (Especially with Rory around, even if Pond wanted to be with the Doctor, Rory the Roman would find a way) a P.S. I have heard the ten duplicate called Tentoo which I actually find very catchy...

I loved all of the companions but for me it has to be Rose. But that's only because I ship Rose/Ten

I like Donna. Donna was like The Doctor's best friend, rather than just a companion.

The really depressing thing is that if they brought back Russel T. Davies, there is a chance Martha, Mickey, Jack, and even Rose, and The Meta-Crisis could be brought back for a season finale (just because that is the way Davies writes). But no matter how much you work with the plot, it is not possible to bring Donna back!!!! She was one of the best companions because she didn't fall for him (although I will admit that the shock scene from Unicorn and the Wasp was one of my favorites).

I would honestly love to see Jack meet River or Amy.
I honestly don't think he could handle them both.
