I don't think so, he's making a new series with him in it.. so I think Percy & Annabeth are eliminated from possible deaths..

"An oath to keep with a final breath" may be referring to Leo. There's a myth mentioned in Greek Gods that Hera would put babies into fire to grant them immortality. As she did this with Leo, there's a chance he'll 'die' doing something triumphant, only to be granted an immortal life with Calypso. Rick will be killing a character, without technically killing him, so it all works out.
