For Tris, Veronica Roth herself said Tassia Farmiga from American Horror Story is great looks wise.
I've heard she's great on the show, but I've never watched it
Taissa is perfect for Tris. And I really wish her sister Vera (a seal of approval, in my POV) plays Natalie. As for Four, I think that this would be an amazing major motion picture comeback for Jonathan Lipnicki.
Still, I hope this movie gets a good director. This is the make or break decision, and it must be done ASAP. Come on! Marie Lu's lesser known (but equally awesome) Legend has a director but Divergent doesn't? What is wrong with the world?

Just as a heads up. Lionsgate has officially bought summit.
"Finnick never wanted anything [in the arena], not food or medicine or weapons. When he received a silver parachute with a trident – which may be the most expensive gift I've ever seen given in the arena – it was all over."

Tom Felton as Peter. Hmm, not sure.
On one hand, he is very good at playing mean, he is blonde, and he is very hotness. But on the other, I really cannot imagine him doing combat scenes. He's also not really buff enough to be Peter. Undecided. But I really wouldn't mind.
Since when I was rereading Divergent fresh after watching The Hunger Games, I saw Josh Hutcherson as Four, then Alexander Ludwig as Peter! But now that I think about it, I don't think Josh would be the guy right for Four, what with Four being tall and Josh being quite short, and Four being all tough and stuff. :P I'm not really sure of who I want to play Tris, AnnaSophia Robb passed my mind too, but, I'm not really sure at this point.. :\
Anyway, I also heard that it comes out sometime in 2015. Waaah, so far from now. :( Hope they do it justice, though. :)

As I turned around, every thought that has been bothering me was forgotten when I laid eyes on the device that would determine my future. I was the daughter of Hecate, witch of Hogwarts, and I was afraid of what my faction will be.
I just love the idea of Chloe Grace Moretz as Tris. I was staring at a picture of her in Aeropostale the other day and just thinking how much she looked like the Tris I pictured. Also, I always thought of Ian Somelholder (spelling?!) when I imagined Tobias. But I think he's too pretty. I'd really like an outsider to play Four/Tobias. And about toning down the violence... I feel like in this post-Hunger Games era, violence among children isn't as shocking as it once was. So I don't think that'd be as much as a problem.
