Seriously, what is this? Last week, it was boiling. Perfect Summer weather. Where did this wind, and this sleet, come from? I have things to do tomorrow! This is going to ruin my whole week. And I ran out of Tetley's.
*eye roll*
That's just perfect. Bloody typical.
What? Well, I'm not exactly expecting anybody to be reading this, so I figured I might as well take the opportunity to bitch and moan about the weather. Then again, I don't know what I expected. All it ever does is rain.
I suppose I should introduce myself, for anybody who cares enough to be reading this.
Hello! I'm Locke. Or, at least, I am for now, and for you. A good friend gave me that name very recently, showing her own incredible ability to make MBTI/Arthur Conan Doyle puns, despite the weather. And yes, I will keep complaining about that at every given chance.
I'm not the most sociable of people, really. I can come accross as arrogant, sometimes. I don't mean to. If I didn't want to socialise with people, I wouldn't bother joining forums, now, would I?
I was born and raised in England, and I have a funny little patriotic streak. I suppose we all do, really. I simultaneously adore and abhor this country. I love the cities (well, some of them...), and I dislike a large protion of the populace. I enjoy the countryside, but the weather continues to irritate me. I drink a lot of tea. I hate the Full English Breakfast.
I am, of course, an Englishwoman, and as such, I crave disappointment, which is why I refuse to ever leave this once-beautiful-now-failing country. This is the reason I continue to plan picnics in the summer, despite knowing that it will, invariably, rain.
Fandoms
→The Kingkiller Chronicle (If there are any other Kingkiller fans out there, for God's sake, say hello)
→Doctor Who
→Harry Potter
→BBC Sherlock/Sherlock Holmes (ACD canon)
→Star Wars... Kind of.
→Pokemon/Digimon/Any kind of "mon"
→No.6
→The Lord of The Rings
Yeah, I think I've wasted enough of yourobviously blatantly oh-so precious time. Nice meeting you all, especially those of you who haven't bothered to read this far.
I think I'll get on with you very well.
EDIT: I should probably mention my age, just in passing.
I'm 20.
Not really much "passing" about that, but it will have to do. My nice dramatic ending was ruined by my own lack of foresight. That's never happened before, I swear to God.
