So I was reading The Serpent's Shadow, the final installment of the Kane Chronicles, and then I saw the name Drew, and a quick scan of the description told me that she had some bimbo bitch qualities. And I was thinking, wow, Rick Riordan sure has something against females named Drew, when I spotted a line saying something about how a Lacy had warned Sadie (female protagonist of Kane Chronicles) about Drew, as they had attended "summer camp" together... and I was all, OMG CAMP HALF-BLOOD <3 !!!
I love how he's made his two empires of gods exist alongside each other. In the first book, The Red Pyramid, a character says that "Manhattan has other problems. Other gods. It's best we stay separate." Makes me wish I could live in a world like that. *sigh of longing*

Rick was talking about that somewhere and I think somebody asked him about a crossover series and he was all "Hmmm I'm going to be sort of vague about this" the way he does. It'd have to take a lot of work for him to do that but he's freaking Rick Riordan so I don't have any doubts that he could pull it off. If he did write a crossover I would read it. Instantly.

Next up are the Norse gods right? I'm hoping hoping hoping that we'll see Percy's or Sadie's worlds in those books! :3 I think the guy's a genius to keep pumping out book after book so quickly. And the best thing is that every book he writes is gripping! Unlike some books where the authors run out of ideas. PS. sorry for the late reply! Haven't been checking here for a while but looks like this place is livening up!
