Okay people- the big question. Was the book or the movie better? I'm voting for book, but I just want to see what you all say.

The book is always better than the movie. BUT I have to say, the film adaptation was brilliant - possibly the best movie based on a book I've seen. Still, there was a lot left out - avoxes, Madge, to name a few - but for once, what was added in that wasn't in the book (i.e. the conversations between Seneca and Snow and seeing Gale back in 12) was actually really good. And I think it was really well cast, besides. I just hope Catching Fire lives up to expectations and beyond them.

I have to say the books just because they were so perfectly written. The movie was fantastic but the book is always better~! (=

Deffo book! Although i loved the movie, i think the book gave a much more believeable and in depth story, for example the film missed out the Avoxes compleatley (i know they had to cut some parts for time) and they are a large part of the rest of the story in book 2 and 3.
