I have just watched the second and third episode of the new series and it finally hit me how different the doctor is in each epidose so he goes with the plot. In Dinosaurs on a Spaceship he didn't give a second thought with letting the man get blown up by the rockets but then in A Town Called Mercy there was the whole ordeal about how they couldn't just let him die. All throughout Doctor Who some episodes have been about him not being able to kill anyone while in others countless dies and they don't give a second thought. Anyone else with me here?

I'm actually liking the "theme" for series 7. I love how they're trying to show how the Doctor does need someone to show perspective as he really could get lost in his emotions. You could see how the Doctor descents when traveling alone. I mean, he's 1200 years old now and the time he travels alone is long enough for him to feel guilt and loneliness. Emotions could easily get the better of him.
I could somewhat see that they're gonna incorporate the "Changing Doctor" to the leaving of the Ponds. I think that the Doctor would choose a decision and would be all dark that would fatally danger Amy or Rory and would be all tragic. The Doctor would be so full of guilt but theeeeeen Jenna-Louise Coleman would enter his life and bring back perspective and everyone would continue to adore Jenna-Louise as I adore her.
