I'm Jennifer, ausomejen, admin for the Ender's Game fandom. I'm going to try and reincarnate the Ender's Game thread in hopes of making this forum our center spot for any Ender's Game discussions about news and updates.

Any topics or concerns you wish to discuss don't be shy and send me a message and I'll see to that we get some discussion going.

Don't forget to visit EGFandom for any current updates on Ender's Game. Also, I hold giveaways and contests for some Ender's Game souvenirs I have. Soon I hope to get a collection of buttons and hopefully t-shirts to give out.

Yes, EndersVerse is my tumblr blog. I don't own TheFandom.Net but I am an admin for the Ender's Game fandom. I'm glad you can check out the forum. If you're interested in any other fandoms on the site you are more than welcome to enter the discussions in their threads. You are not restricted to only Ender's Game.

Ahhhh I see. Well, it's nice to meet the name behind the tumblr page!
Yeah I know, but I'm not much of a forumer. I'll most likely check out the Doctor Who one, because they are no doubt all ecstatic over this past series finale.

Thank you, by the way, for all the work that you do with the EndersVerse tumblr and all of the giveaways. I'm sure you aren't the one purchasing the products to give away, but it must take time and effort to organize this, and you probably have work to do in your own life.

^_^ I enjoy meeting my followers. And it's my pleasure to update you all on news and such. It's tricky but fun at the same time. I try to keep up with the latest news but I give myself a certain time everyday to search and post about other updates (i.e. fan art, the countdown, other projects the actors work on).

Haha we enjoy meeting you too! I see... Must be time consuming. Do you have other things to do, too? Like school/work?
What are your thoughts on the flash suit? I feel like the flash suit is a hard concept to come up with. Because on one hand it has to be flexible and maneuverable, but on the other hand isn't there a technology involved that makes their bodies freeze? Is that technology in the suit or in the gun? I was under the impression that it would be like laser tag, where the gun would hit a target on the suit which would lock it up. But I haven't read the book in a while so I cannot remember exactly.

It definitely takes more than just a google search to keep the blogs running. I do have a job and school but luckily I just got out of school for the summer so I have a bit more free time to dedicate to EG.
I think the flash suits look amazing, but I do wonder how the concept of the suit being frozen will be depicted in the movie. I mean I think there is some technology involved in them but not so much as to be computerized or something. I haven't done laser tag so I'm not too familiar with the game, but from what you described that is how the flash suit works. Once they get hit by the flash gun the suit freezes in its place. I've been wondering for awhile how the actors, when hit, kept their bodies or limbs frozen. If they did have a suit that locked or if they themselves had to keep from moving. The latter would have been very difficult.

Yeah. I really liked how we were in Ender's head most of the time during the books (though the conversations when he wasn't there were interesting) I hope it has a similar feel because I really love that book.
