President Coin planned to do a final Hunger Games where the tributes were children directly related to those who held the most power in the Capitol. What do you think the arena would be like for this final symbolic Hunger Games?

Ok I love the beach- anything to do with the beach is something that i'm in love with! :']
So why not on a beach with a volcano?

Personally, I think that idea ended with the death of Coin.

It did, but I admit I was kinda excited to see what the Games would be like. I would have voted in favour of it happening... I think.

I think that it would have been something extremely ironic. Like, you know how the Capitol favors tons of strange fashion and are, well, extremely self-centered? I would use that against them. Maybe even mock them by having mirrors as weapons or something like that.
OR they could possibly take the means of the most memorable deaths from the previous Games and use it on their children. Like maybe reuse the mutts or the big avalanche.

AND... I personally would not vote for a 76th Hunger Game. As much as I love revenge, I hate seeing the death of people. Death like that has a big impact on me.
Second, they were going to use the children of those in the Capitol. I mean, their children didn't do any of this! Honestly, unless they were the people to originally vote for the Hunger Games, then it is not their fault. But, I guess my argument goes with the reason why the Hunger Games were created in the first place. They're doing something worse than hurting those of the rebellion-- they are hurting their children. Katniss stated this herself.

It seemed like the Capitol citizens had forgotten that people in the districts were human beings, so it would make sense that it would work the other way round. Katniss once described her prep team as a flock of brightly coloured birds. People in the districts wouldn't be as affected by the deaths as we would. And, although I agree that the chuildren are innocent and don't deserve it, President Coin showed that District citizens can be just as bad as the Capitol. We still don't know if it was Gale's bomb that blew up Prim and the other children.

I think it was imposed that I was in fact Gale's bomb that killed all the children including (SPOILER) Prim but I don't think he really meant to kill her sister at all. i agree that Coin is just as bad as the Capitol! She was never really on the good side at all! She merely used Katniss as a way to get power which she obviously understood at the end.

i think she thought that with peeta she would get more publicity because he was a better public speaker than katniss and would probably would have been nicer to work with...

Symbolic of the Hunger Games? No food or water. If it's meant to be for revenge's sake and not entertainment like the original Games, it would have been meant to prove a point. It would probably have been a desert, no food, no water, no weapons. Just you against the elements with only your bare hands and wit [which Capitol children would be lacking in survival skills]. Show them the torment of living in the lower Districts.

i was horrified that it was suggested , i would have voted no - just to annoy Coin. But I think the Capitol kids would be easier to kill. take away their luxuries and they have nothing.

Probably something even crazier than the 75th... if it really was the last games.
