I saw this thread in the THG section and thought the HP area could use one.
Basically, you just post your unpopular opinions XD
So for me... my main one is that I don't like Draco and I don't get why he has so many fans.

I think he has so many fans because people find him mysterious and misunderstood. They feel bad for him, and they know he wants to do something good. He's been forcibly sucked into the dark arts because he was born into that kind of family. But people can tell he really just has too much heart to be...well...bad. I guess people feel like there are reasons behind every action. Pity accompanies gains positive feelings from readers, I guess.
I didn't like Bellatrix. A lot of people love her. Probably because they thought she was super bad ass and being crazy is kind of cool sometimes. She was obsessed with Voldemort, and I didn't like her one bit.
I also hated James Potter. That's probably not unpopular, I don't know. But he was a jerk at Hogwarts. I don't care if he was Harry's father, I did not like that man! Hahaha.

Yeah, I mean I felt like Harry's love for Ginny was too sudden, but I don't like Cho at all. Too whiny haha. I mean, the whole crying thing on Valentine's Day...just no.
YOUR OPINION IS NOT POPULAR. Lol.

To be honest, I was never a fan of Ron. Sure, he's cool and all but I just don't think he's right for Hermione and he's not exactly the brightest crayon in the box.
I also never liked Petunia or pitied her. She's the way she is now because of the choices she made. If she had been the wizard, Lily would have been supportive all the way, even when things got hard. That's just my unpopular opinion though...

I never liked Petunia, either.

I don't like Dumbledore. Didn't cry when he died and didn't pity him for the mistakes he made.

I mean he was a teacher who seemed to never be there. He left his students in mortal danger multiple times all the while leaving his favorite student in ignorant blissful danger. Otherwise, I'm rather apathetic towards him.

Yeah, he did in fact leave the students n danger. I'm sure he wouldn't have if he didn't trust McGonagall, though. I started to not like him when I found out that we didn't really know anything about him, and that he kept his whole life a secret from Harry, when Harry always tried to confide in Dumbledore. I mean, Dumbledore knew everything about Harry's life, shouldn't Harry know about Dumbledore's?

More than anything. He honestly thought that those feelings wouldn't be transferred to James's son?

Dumbledore's faith in Snape shouldn't have anything to do with who Snape dislikes personally. He still protected Harry.

Well, that isn't really relevant because Snape still did everything in his power to protect Harry. Dumbledore's faith in Snape shouldn't have anything to do with who Snape dislikes personally. He still protected Harry. yes he protected Harry. A reason he never found out why untill Snape died. Something Dumbledore didnt think necessary for Harry to know. Did he not think that Harry wouldnt want to know about his mother? If anyone could have told him something, it would have been Snape. Almost like Dumbledore set out to keep them apart. And remeber? Dumbledore did apologize for having Harry learn occulemancy from Snape. Dumbledore has assumed that his faith in Snape would have kept Harry safe. And look what happened. Snape kicked harry out of his room, and harry's mind was left open to an attack by Voldemort which led to Sirius dying.
