So my co-written novel is done and we ended up only writing 2 books in the series. Windows: Looking Through and a second Windows untitled book. I'm working on the cover art right now and was wondering if you think this summary sounds compelling enough?
Would you read it?
We got a lot of rejection letters back from agents, so we're thinking of just self-publishing through Amazon once we hear back from the last 6 agents who have yet to return our letters. Does this sound like something you'd pick up?
When souls are combined into beings called Spirits, Alex Pierce will come face-to-face with these seemingly immortal creations that have turned her once happy life into sixteen years of hell.
Sixteen year old Alexandra Pierce's life changed abruptly at age four when her parents were mysteriously murdered in their own home. Brash, cold, and bitter, Alex was left in an abusive foster home with no one to go to except her only true friend, a house ridden Julia\. But Alex's life soon becomes a whirlwind as she burdens herself with the task of bringing her parents's murderers to light.
Alex is quickly confronted not only with an outrageous concept of Spirits, which are multiple souls engineered into a single vessel, but also with the task of fending for her own life as she attempts to find justice. She must deal with her own demons, as well as the idea of new blossoming romances. Facing the greatest obstacles of her life, she must make decisions that will help her move on from merely acting invincible. But will the stress overwhelm her or will Alex emerge from her journey truly strong?
