This really isn't related to any fandom or the site, but it would mean the world to my family if you could please help us. My brother has been bullied by this same kid since we moved to this town, its slowly been esculating and the school has been brushing it off. At the beginning of this week my brother was attacked by this kid on the bus on his way home. He was beaten so bad he was taken to the hospital. We were told that he's lucky to be alive, his injuries could have been so much worse. A friend of mine contacted one of her friends and she wrote a wonderful blog about it, it includes a post my mom made on facebook, as well as information to contact the school. We won't to push them to make a change because so far nothing is being done. We as parents, or in my case older siblings, want this to change. We want the policy of No Tolerance to be more than words. If you could, please take the time to read the post, and maybe contact the school. Please, and thank you so much. www.cutestkidever.org/tell-emmett-belknap-school-to-take-hard-line-against-bullying/3832/

Oh my! That is horrible ;o
I'm really sick of schools not doing anything to stop bullying before it builds up like that!
Sorry to hear about your brother, but I'm glad he is okay!

We found out that we can't press charges because according to the police, my brother wasn't hurt bad enough. Its not assault either because they're under 14, at most its just harassment. D=

That is honestly just...unbelievable that they can get away with something like that. Your poor brother. Wait, so the kid who did it takes karate? Contact his dojo. I'm serious, his sensei or kyoshi or whatever will do something. It's like, the worst thing karateka can do. I really hope this works out for him!

We thought about that, but then found he quit/got kicked out so he doesn't have a master to contact. We've been trying like hell, and its to the point where the teachers/principals seemed to be bullying both my siblings so my mom pulled both my little brother and my little sibling out of school. This week they beging home schooling, but mom still hasn't given up her fight. She's still going strong.

Do you have a ministry of education? Here if you were in that kind of situation that's what you would do. Or contact a local newspaper and get them to run your story. Gain support. Kia kaha guys.

We've gone to the news multiple times, and no ones contacted us back, they haven't said anything about it We've talked to the local board of education who were like orly, we found they hadn't been told the whole story. We've also contacted the states board.. and still we haven't heard much of anything. Its rather depressing that no one wants to take action, other than the parents directly involved.. It shouldn't have to end badly before the news/others listen.
