Hello! My name is Tiffany, but you can call me whatever you like as long as it's polite. ;D I'm 21 and from West Virginia. My main fandom is Doctor Who. I'm a Tom Baker nut, as you may or may not be able to tell by my username (and/or the subject of this post), even though I'm relatively new to Classic Who. I went all the way to London with my parents to visit the Doctor Who Experience and see Catherine Tate and David Tennant in Much Ado About Nothing (I wanted to do more cultural/educational stuff as well but didn't really get much of a chance!). Despite my preference for Number Four I've loved all the Doctors that I've seen so far (the only ones I haven't seen at all are Five and Six, though I've barely seen any of Seven).
Other fandoms I've been involved in, although not so much anymore, are Harry Potter (I was really obsessed for at least four years), Lord of the Rings (mostly in middle school, though I saw a trailer for The Hobbit movie and HNGGGH), Star Wars (... I forget exactly when, but I believe it was sometime in high school or middle school), and Twilight (for maybe two years in high school... I got hooked on it before it was really popular, back when you could email Stephenie directly. I sort of started the Twilight fad at my school, and now thanks to how cool it is to hate on Twilight I've sworn never to start a new fad again Nowadays I'm mostly indifferent to it).
I'm also really obsessed with Vocaloids (voice synthesizers, for those that don't know... I'm terrible at explaining things, but I like to say they're computer programs that sing). Gumi and Rin were my definite favorites recently, but a new one called Yukari came out a few days ago and I already love her.
Watching anime/reading manga is another pastime of mine, though it's mostly just anime anymore (in high school my friends had a manga lending library set up so I read a lot more manga; now I pretty much have to buy it). I like Higurashi and Umineko, also known as When They Cry (though the sound novels tell the story better), Fairy Tail, Code Geass (though I haven't watched the second season yet... it got spoiled for me), Princess Jellyfish, and... my mind's gone blank! I think those were the main ones, though.
Sorry for blabbering on so much! ^^; If you have any questions or just want to chat, hit me up!
