Am I the only one who believes Annabeth is going to die or something is bad is going to happen to her. There's a lot of foreshadowing.

Hmmm maybe. But I don't think she's going to DIE, because then any sort of happy ending would pretty much be impossible for Percy. Foreshadowing you say? Could you please expand on that? Coz i can't think of anything off the top of my head. Personally, i really don't care. i mean, i do, but annabeth was never my favourite character. When you think about it, tons of Percy's like, female friends have died. Bianca, Zoe, Silena. I'm actually thinking that Clarisse might die. Or maybe Thalia.

A lot of things are referenced in The Son of Neptune that Percy will have to sacrifice something, and he's not going to be able to do it. Later, Ella says a prophecy about "Wisdom's child walks alone, the mark of Athena burns through Rome". Then, Hera/Juno says that Annabeth will cause the most trouble.
I don't know, it's just how I put everything together.

I think that Annabeth might somehow do something to help the giants for something. We saw in Sea of monsters that her fatal flaw is pride and I think that may come into play later. I'm also excited to see to see Annabeth's reaction to seeing the Parthenon and how all of these "love triangles" work out.

There's definitely something fishy going on with Annabeth. But I believe that she's not going to do anything rash, or something risky without reason. Her mom is, after all, the Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategy. Is she going to die? It's quite possible. But I think it's more of her actions decide the ending.

love triangles?? I thought they were all resolved. But i am SO excited for the next book. So pumped for when Percy finds Nico and yells at him for pretending not to know him. Then Percy will get shamed when Nico is all 'i couldn't interfere with the GODS'

Agreed, I just have a soft spot for Nico! Another thing that I would like to know is where Jason went for the two months between his disappearance form Camp Jupiter and TLH, and where Percy went for his six months between TLH and SON.

I think that it said somewhere that Hera put Percy to sleep for like months, and then he trained with Lupa for the rest of it? I don't know. All i know is that there must MUST be a love interest for Nico in the last book, otherwise i will have to resort to drastic measures and ship him with like, Thalia or something :L

I don't think she's going to die, but I do think she's going to have a lot of trouble in her life. Just because of a lot of the foreshadowing. If any main character is going to die, it's probably going to be Nico, I think Annabeth and Percy are pretty safe as far as death goes.

That's depressing. If Nico dies then i will lose all faith in...i don't know. But i'll lose faith in something. I think that Reyna may die. She seems very self-sacrificing, and it would clear up any Jason/Piper/Reyna issues nicely.

I haven't actually thought about Nico dying for some odd reason, but now that you bring it up it seems quite possible. I know they (Percy/Jason) were asleep for a period, but where would Juno put them to keep them hidden?

I honestly think Annabeth is going to do something proud and completely stupid that will hurt the relationships between the two camps.
I though want to see how the triangle works out between Leo/Hazel/Frank. True they havent met yet, but with Leo looking like the guy she was suppose to marry back in her time, this could make things interesting.
